Texts is an experimental book design project, taking cues from Bart van der Leck's 'Het Vlas'. The book was used to explore the usage of the rectangular form as a universal element in building type that is not native to just one script.

Typography; Experimental

Texts explores this by applying it to Latin (English & Turkish) and Devanagari script. Poems and text contributions by Pragya Lal, Pardis Shafafi and Ilayda Keskinaslan. The book is printed on a risograph machine and the typography is manually entered onto a digital grid. The project was led by Martin Lundell and Ellef Prestsæter.
